Using the whole Olaplex line is highly recommended if you truly want to maximize your hair health. I usually use this once a week. I put this treatment on damp hair before I shampoo/condition. The longer you leave this on the better. Yes, 10 minutes in the shower is better than nothing, but I like to apply it at night and shampoo it out in the morning. It’s packed with protein to strengthen but isn’t the most hydrating so it’s thin hair friendly. If you can’t tolerate Olaplex shampoo and conditioner because of the heaviness, this treatment is great because you shampoo it out and it doesn’t leave the hair feeling weighed down. I find it actually makes my hair feel thicker rather than weighed down or greasy.
